2023 Rules

2023 PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND the COVID rules before you sign up!!!

1. If the NFL cancels a game before Wednesday night at midnight
   and declares a winner and loser and you have picked the winner you are good to go. If you picked the loser you will have until Wednesday at midnight to pick a new team.

2. If the NFL cancels a game on Thursday-Sunday,
   for whatever reason, and declares a winner and loser this will be how the game is scored for Fatty-Ish purposes.
   .
3. If the NFL postpones a game after Wednesday at midnight
   and doesn’t declare a winner and loser then both sides will lose because Fatty Ish rules require your team to win to proceed to the next week.

4. If you have a team that has one or more players deemed ineligible
   after Wednesday at midnight then they are still your team you cannot change teams.

5. If you are assessed a fine and you do not pay that fine
   by the following Wednesday your pick will be removed from play.

We don’t anticipate any covid issues but if they occur we will continue with last years covid rules.

STANDING RULES 

1. Sign up and make your pick on fatty-ish.com every WEDNESDAY BEFORE MIDNIGHT CST.

!!! READ THIS !!! 1a. If your are late by one minute the board has the option to drop you from the contest or assess a fine that we deem appropriate. For more fine information send an e-mail to iwasdumbandlatepleaseforgiveme@fatty-ish.com

2. Pick one NFL team to WIN each week. A tie is a loss.

3. There is no spread. Just pick a winner. A tie is a loss.

4. Once you pick a team you may not pick them again.

5. The last person in WINS!!!!

6. If there is more than one person in at the end of the season, the football pool committee will set rules for the playoffs or has the right to end the pool and split among people left.

7.  All picks must be sent to the website by Wednesday at 11:59pm each week.  If there is an issue with your internet or very unlikely our website you can text your pick to 479-236-8665 by Wednesday at 11:59pm.  Remember, our software shows who’s IP address logged into the site.   We know if you logged in or forgot!!!!

8. If you forget to get your pick in by Wednesday at 11:59pm you may email  iwasdumbandlatepleaseforgiveme@fatty-ish.com before the first kickoff on Thursday with your picks and will be able to stay in the pool provided you pay your penalty. If not your pick is out.NO Phone Calls

9. You will not be part of the pool until your registration with entry fee has been received and approved by the board. If you haven't completed your registration with entry fee by the time the first game starts you will be out and your name will not appear on the web site. Each pick is $400.00 for 2023.

VERY IMPORTANT: There are too many people for us to keep up with. If your picks are not in by Wednesday each week you will be dropped from the pool. Do not expect a reminder phone call from us. Part of the deal is getting your picks in on time. If you get dropped because you didn't follow the rules don't call and try to beg back in. We won't let you and if you bug us we will blackball you for the following year.

LATE FINES = Donation to the Fatty-Ish relief fund
Week 1-3 = $60.00 per pick
Week 4-6 = $120.00 per pick
Week 7-9 = $180.00 per pick
Week 10-12 = $240.00 per pick
Week 13-17 = $300.00 per pick
If you have 2 teams late multiply the fine by two, if you have 3 teams late multiply the fine by 3 and so on.
